Fast and the Furious 3

I just d/l the maven release of it and the quality is very good. I'm going to watch the whole movie tonight when I get off work.
More info on it here http://www.vcdquality.com/index.php?genre=1&searchstring=tokyo+drift&x=0&y=0

as a shop owner i had a lot of of preconceived notions about the movie. I went to see it with one of my partners and one of our sponsored customers and i have to say it was much better than i thought it would be. the cars were awesome. Cars we have seen before in various drift events and the driving was also very impressive. Story line was pretty cheesy as expected but still not too bad. All and all it really wasn't a bad movie. not great either but much better than i thought it would be. the best of the three so far.

I just got back from seeing it.

It was the better of the 3 in all honesty. The star wasn't a dumbass and the vin scene was pretty cool. It seemed like the cinematography was also better than the three. The first one looked like the director from "the Substitute" filmed it, the second looked like the director from "bad boys" filmed it, but this one looked like a real action flick and I like that style. I don't know if it was the type of film they used, but I really liked it.

Drifting still sucks, tho.

The next one would be called, The fast and furious: Rally Fury

EDIT: at kid from Home Improvement He's like 28.

I didn't think it was THAT bad, but like someone else said, it wasn't a good movie, just not a waste of time. Personally, I thought all the smashing into the other guy was stupid. It doesn't fucking matter if you are racing, nobody is going to risk a 350z or Cobra like that.

Here in Houston they are busting asshole kids drifting in the parking lots at the movie theater. it's like, come on.. save it for the fukking track!... There's been numerous accidents involving ricers this weekend... I think I'll wait till Sunday night to see it...

yeah i saw the maven release too

I liked it, it was a decent action flick, drifting looked totally fake tho, except for a few scenes.

some quotes
-Japanese Food is like the army, don't ask don't tell

- Whats this for?
=For when you blow your wad man

-the yakuza kid had a jonhy tran hair cut

-you know who I am?
=Yeah you are the justin timberlake of japan

during the races they fucked up sooo mnay cars and everyone just cheered wtf

-can;t youi go find a good japanese girl like the rest of white guys around here

just a few quotes :P

first race was stupid and so was trying to pretend those guys were in high school

fucking Brad Taylor was in high school like 10 years ago

I liked most of the rest

Yeah the cheating/ramming into each other was terrible. It kinda ruined the race scenes. Every time that happened I was like "oh come on, at least have a clean race"

Wasn't that "kit" a 1 off for the Auto Salon?

Considering I was expecting another Fnf2, I was able to enjoy the movie. I was skeptical as hell on the rb26 swap before the movie, but they actually made it plausible. Other than the never ending corkscrew drift (I would love to see the directors cut of the the drivers actually trying it), and the billions of 350z's in the movie, I have no real complaints.

One thing I noticed that kind of got under my skin: How in the fuck could you let a complete stranger drive your car? The black kid let him drive right after they met, then Han let him drive three of his cars. I mean, I know it's just a movie, but fuck. I know they kind of explain why Han let him do it, but the black kid was just like, here, take my keys, drive my car, even though I'm not rich like han, and I don't even fucking know you. I don't even let most people I've known for a long time drive my car.
