Farewell and Godspeed.

Greetings Fellow Palm Owners,

I have just finished clearing all the data off my T3 before selling it on Monday. This will be my last Palm PDA - for now (Never say never).
On Tuesday I will be sailing down the road of Mobile PC's with a major baggage of reservations.

Some of you might be wondering why I'm posting this thread but I've been with Palm since the very first day when the the Palm Pilot 1 was launched. Over the years I have witnessed Palm's innovation in PDA design in functionality and I will look back with positive direction for the future of mobile computing.

There are some members in the T3 forum such as PalmTealLover who is - IMHO - a very honorable and knowledgeable fellow who has fought as much as I have through the various revisions of the Palm series. PalmTealLover - I salute you! :)

Ok, ok - I'm being very sentimental but this move from the Palm to the Windows Mobile environment is VERY mixed indeed. Stay sharp and stay on track with Palm. I have simply hit a fork in the road and it leads down another (albeit shaky) path.

Be sure to note your concerns with the future direction for Palm and let your thoughts be known. This forum is not simply for resolving technical issues but also for raising issues with Palm and to hold them accountable.

Best of luck,

PalmTealLover & Mooseman - band of brothers...

Well all I can say is you'd BETTER stay in touch.

There are NEVER any goodbyes among professionals.
You're "seeing the other side" for God's sake - not leaving the universe. It might give you a whole new appreciation for PalmOne (crappy as they're being or may be w/Cobalt) - or lead some of us to a better product!!

No more graveyard whistling for you, Good Man. You are a gentleman and a friend.

KimH....of course you'll visit from time to time? Won't you?

Your's is a path that I may be forced to take as a result of company changes so let me know where you land so that I can follow as necessary.

Your threads, comments and eline personality say to me that you are a good person and deserving of all the best that life has to offer. If the best happens to be something other then Palm handhelds in your case, it will not be held against you by members of this forum.

Stay in touch, good luck and God bless.

Good luck with the change, Kim. Like the others, I hope you'll still visit here from time to time and let us know how the PPC is working out for you. It's been a pleasure to have you on the Palm forums.
