Far Cry 2 PC - Opinions on the game?

I am thinking of buying Far Cry 2 for the PC and i just wanted some honest opinions on the game.
If your gonna have a rant about DRM dont post please im not interested.
How is the gameplay? How is the multiplayer?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
