If Alan Reed were still alive, I would have loved for him to do Sergeant Orville P. Snorkel (a.k.a. "Sarge") from Beetle Bailey. Every time I read that strip I always imagine Sarge talking like Fred Flintstone because I can't imagine a more perfect voice. It would've been much better than the one he had in the original cartoon series.
