Webb to do it.? 1 team in my league likes to make trades, and I want to see if I can upgrade my team by trading with him. He has players that are hurt at SP, so I thought about offering B. Webb, B. Penny, R. Weeks, J. Pierre for J. Hamilton, J. Ellsbury, S. Marcum.
Marcum is a young pitcher with great stats, and Hamilton is a stud so far. Ellsbury I want because he will get me Pierre's steals with some extra runs and RBI's. What do you think? He is getting the best pitcher in the game, but is that enough to get Hamilton, since I am getting the upgrade at all the other positions? If you are want to and are willing to help, tell me in an answer that you want to see the rosters and I will put them on there. Thanks in advance.
It is the first year of a 12 team 6x6 keeper league in which we keep 8 players total.

Well... I do like that you're trading for Marcum and Hamilton, but I really don't think you're asking for enough. Hamilton's a stud, and I think he'll be a top OF by season's end. Same for Marcum. But I think you could drop Pierre and/or Ellsbury out of the deal and try to get one more mid-level player. Ellsbury and Pierre are both low-tier guys. Or you can try going for a smaller deal and get a top-tier guy in a 1-for-1 or 1-for-2 trade. The bigger the trade is, the harder it is for the opposition to see the value in it.

I think you can do a little bit better. Especially if you're looking to primarily upgrade your offense. The addition of Hamilton will be a great move in the long run, but Webb is a top 3 pitcher. He's worth more than this.

If you look at it this way... Webb for Marcum and Hamilton, I'd still say whoever gets Webb's got a much safer end of the deal. Try to get a little more out of the deal. If you don't succeed, then go ahead and try for Marcum/Hamilton.

Best of luck.
