If I have a family member who is a mother to several grade school children and I know that she takes prescription drugs (and maybe street also), should I contact child welfare? What will they do if it doesn't show? She calls and sounds drugged out sometimes but other times is perfectly herself. Her kids take care of themselves quite well and I know kids don't like being taken away from their parents, but I wonder what this is doing to them by her being so out of it at times!
