Family is so ignorant to understand our financial situation w/ having three

kids so young? Please read & help? See my wife and I had our kids young, very young, we both are in our mid twenties. We had our first at 18 years old plus 3 more. You would think we are a typical welfare family but we are not. I have a good job, we live in an area thats cheap to live in the midwest. I make close to $56,000 after taxes and she makes about $8000 after taxes just staying and working from home with the kids. I hate how our family gives us so much crap about where we live. We live in a quiet OLDER small neighborhood where the houses are built around 1960+ Its like the fact that we live in an older house and we had kids young, make us trash and i hate it! My wifes family all has a lot of money, and my side of the family doesnt. So her side all lives in nice houses and they come over and are llike EWW to our house. Then my side of the family loves our house since well, its as nice, if not nicer, than their house. Our house is worth about $115,000 and thats all we could afford at the time 6 years ago when we bought it when we were 20. I just HATE how they make me feel so poor and just like a terrible person because i dont have all italian leather couched, and all stainless steel appliances. They dont get that we are VERY VERY lucky for our situation in life and how it all happened. Most people in their mid twenties with three kids and no college education around here live in trailers and are on welfare. We dont even have a credit card!, we are smart, but yes, we do live well within our means. It jjust pisses me off how no one can just be proud of where we are from the situation in life. We even married at 18 , are still together, and are making all this work out pretty darn well!
