A new episode airs tonight at 9 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

The late night cut aways should've been animated. One of my favorite episodes was the episode with Jimmy Fallon animated and the family was the SNL music guest.

I agree. These last couple of seasons of Family Guy haven't been as consistent as they used to be. The 2000's decade has been great for Family Guy. But if 2010 and on for Family Guy is going to be what 2000 and on has been for The Simpsons, maybe it's time Family Guy called it a series.

So guest stars like Lauren Conrad deserve a whole episode and storyline while guest stars like Seth Rogan only deserve a 15 second, forgettable cutaway?

Another sub-par Family Guy episode. I'm starting to wonder why I still tune in to the new episodes every week.

So Jillian didn't take Brian back. Can we please let the Brian/Jillian thing drop now, Seth?

I find it funny how so many people are complaining about Brian and Jillian like its something every single episode talks about. Jillian hasnt been mentioned or referenced for quite a while but the minute she comes back, people act like she's an overused character.

The Brian/Jillian on/off thing isnt an on/off thing. They went out, they broke up, Brian tries to get her back and learns she's moved on. Next Jillian appearance we find out she's getting married and Brian tries to win her back but comes to terms that she's over him.

That's 2 episodes. No need to make this situation any more than it is.

That's because Jillian isn't a very interesting character and no one really wanted to see more of her after her 1st appearance. If it's an unpopular character, then 2 appearances it too much. Plus, the fact that the Brian/Jillian romance was doomed form the start was painfully obvious (was there anyone who really thought that Jillian was going to forge a meaningful relationship with a dog?), so there was no need to stretch it out beyond a single episode.
