Family Guy TV Character come out

Why is this treated like a big deal? Stewie being gay was hinted at years ago, back during the seasons that everyone claims were the only ones that were good. This has been a long time in coming and they might as well just get it over with and make it official.

.............................................

well, My 2nd favriote character from the show is now ruined, On the Bright Side I'll Have some Extra money to spend once I sell ALL of my family guy DVD's.

Now im not soley sore about this, I hate how they Turned What Started Out as an Awsomely Maniecle Evil Baby with a British accent to a Bi-curious not as minaicale baby & Now to this, this isn't good character Progression its the Opposite, & he's a bloody Baby for petes sake he should,nt be interseted in anyone of any gender period!

However I will Always Remember Stewie As the Manical Mother Hating wanna be world Dominator he was in the 1st 3 seasons.

& also would like to note this will not hinder my enjoyment of Seths other shows like American Dad or Cleavland (Wich im really looking Foward to)

But this is deffinantly another Nail in the coffin for me, I mean next thing you know there going to make meg a Man & make Chris Anerexic...Im sorry but I really don't like the paths FG has been Taking Recently & I can honestly say this is one fan thats hanging up his hat for good, I could take the Religious jokes, I could take the Rauncy humor, I could even take The Progression of Brian from Moderate to Liberal. But turning one of my Favriote Characters from Evil to to this...Well Mr.McFarline, Thats where i draw the line good sir, if it had been Peter, Chris or meg i'd be fine, but doing this to stewie, well Im afraid its just to much for this old boy to bear.

Rada! :radda:

Aside from it being obvious for several years, I could of sworn Seth has already admitted this. I'm pretty sure I heard him tell Stryker and Dr. Drew that Stewie was indeed gay on an episode of Loveline a couple of years ago. It's more surprising that Lois is revealed as Jewish.

Agreed.

And who cares if he's gay? No need to make a big deal about a character's confirmed sexuality. Does it really ruin the character in any way, especially since it's been hinted long before it was all but confirmed?

Vague? They practically hit us over the head with it every chance they get.

But yeah, the writers have brought this up lots of times in the past. It's really nothing new.

What does surprise me, though, is how Stewie's frustrations and confusion over his sexuality are the reasons that he tries to kill Lois. Kind of takes a bit of fun out of his character knowing that such a huge aspect of his personality derives from that fact.

soundmonkey, you act like this is the last thing you ever expected to happen on this show. Anyone has watched this show for any length of time, even back before it was canceled, shouldn't be surprised by this. At all.

And I can't believe there are people who think the original incarnation of Stewie was actually interesting. I cringe now when I watch the first season and a half of this show, before they started to develop Stewie more.

they sky is blue?! I though it was atmospheric gasses that tint of the darkness of space.

but seriously I would be more surprised of Stewie was a zoophile

Stewie is gay? No freaking way man! Guess what? Someone just told me that grass is green, the sky is blue, food satisfies hungry and liquids satisfies thirst! I'm learning all sorts of things that I've never ever knew before. I wonder what else I didn't know. Like are there certain types of bacteria that are used to make cheese? Or is the Cheetah the fastest land animal? Maybe, just maybe, bats are nocturnal? I don't know. I just don't know.

Haha!! That made me think of the episode where Stewie's eavesdropping on Brian and Lois and you hear him from off-screen go "Oh my God, no way" in a sort of slow mock-disbelief. :D

It goes all the way back to the second season, in "Fifteen Minutes of Shame," when they're on The Real Life Griffins and Stewie wonders aloud, "And then sometimes I think, 'My God, wouldn't it be great if I were a homosexual?'" LOL!!!
