You know what? I hate Seth. But, and there's always a but, somebody's gotta win an Emmy with an animated show against LA categories. Animation needs to win big to change public paradigms. And if it's Family Guy and Seth that have the legs to do it, so be it. Regardless of the overblown Obama metaphor, this could be a huge step for animation. As animation fans, I think we all agree, as animation fans, that it needs to be thought of as a groundbreaking medium, and not as just kiddy fare. So if Seth winning an Emmy means this dream of ours happening, I think it's advisable for us to support him.
I'm waiting for your comments, Darthgonzo.
