Family Guy - "Three Kings" - Talkback [5/10]

Actually, she did appear in act two, talking to Brian on the phone.

And it sounded like Adam West voiced Ace in act one. Is this the first time West did a Family Guy voice that wasn't Mayor West?

This was okay. The biggest laugh for me was the appearance of Meg :p and Adam West and his posse. Misery wasn't very good, and Stand By Me and Shawkshank were pretty descent. What is a Hollerback Girl anyway?? Better than tonight's Simpsons but not by too much.

I've laughed so hard especially the Joe bashings in all 3 Stephen King stories, hahahahahahaha:p:D,what an awesome, hilarious show better than The Simpsons,I love it:D.
Stewie playing the psychotic villains in the first two Stephen King parodies was brilliant for Stewie's evil character.
Wow,a great season finale along with Stewie/Eminem appearing & being the hosts of Animation Domination, awesome:D.

So I got a question. Wasn't the season finale supposed to be the Star Wars parody "Dark side something, something, something"? The preview they show didn't look like Star Wars. Did they move it for next season again?

You know, if They were to have done a parody of The Shining, they'd have to have Matt Groening's Lawyer (the Blue Haired Lawyer) make an appearance, ordering Peter to stop telling the story, and tell something else that was original, and not done before!

Besides, if they were to do The Shining, Joe would be the guy who'd rescue Stewie from his murderous dad, only to have his legs chopped off, and then get axed in the back!

"Alright, Looney, show me what you've got! *gets axed in the legs* AAHH! MY LEGS! NOW, I'M GONNA HAVE TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE IN A WHEELCHAIR!"
"No you're not."
"*gets axed in the back* AHH! Is that the best you can do?"

TreeHouse of Horror V. It happened all the same way - Willie gets Axed in the back!

"I'm coming to rescue the lot of ya!" *axed in the back* "AGH!! I'm bad at this!"

They wanted to do The Shining, but it would have to involve some form of a Simpsons Cameo by Groundskeeper Willie, having Stewie read his thoughts, just to have him killed by Peter.

Good episode but one little nitpick Peter was suppose to be reading the Steven King Stories, well the story "Stand By me" is adapted from is called "The body" and not Stand By Me.

Ok ok I realize thats a pointless complaint.

No, it isn't. We saw how Joe became paralyzed way back in his 1st appearance ("A Hero Sits Next Door"). Joe lost his legs in all 3 of this week's segments.

Doesn't Peter know "American Dad" comes on after Family Guy?

Besides the 3 times Joe gets paralysed on his legs, the other funny parts was when Peter shouted "TRAIN!" and "ANOTHER TRAIN!" in slow motion.

The gross part was the "Magnum P.I." spoof with a poop reference. And was the wooden hands/arms/legs warden saying "I have to pop a pinecone"? What does "I have to pop a pinecone" mean?

Was Stewie playing Old Man Preston a knockoff of junk dealer Fred Sanford (portrayed by the legendary Redd Foxx) from the "Sanford and Son" TV series?

Did Little Richard really do the "piano-WOOO!" song?

And only 1 cutaway part, is this the less any Family Guy episode has done for cutaway parts with just 1? (I can see it now: PETER: "One cutaway part in a Family Guy episode is worse since the recent Simpsons episode that Bart didn't appear!" - Cutaway to the Simpsons couch gag opening credit scene with Homer, Marge, Lisa, and Maggie but no Bart, who is then directly cutaway to Bart shown in bed wearing a swine flu protective mouth mask and talking to his agent on a cell phone - "Eat my shorts, Mr. trainer who owns Spider Pig! (KOFF, KOFF!)")

I can also see them doing 'Christine' with Neil Goldman, and 'Carrie' with, ouf course, Meg.

Didn't care for the Misery sketch, it kind of just... ended way to quick. Stand By Me was hilarious, though, especially the rips at Jerry O'Connel and Jaquin Phoenix.

Wait wait, wouldn't a train slice your legs off completely?

I just noticed "Holla Back Girl" has 3 meanings to it. Moving on...

What did Cleveland mean by "Crap!" when Peter told him to try and find him again? Was that implying that he was gay for him?
