Family Guy - "Spies Reminiscent of Us" - Talkback [10/11]

Wow, baseball all for rest of October on Fox? I thought TBS was for that. Hope this episode is better than the last one, I was a little disappointed.

Winner for me tonight has to go to Family Guy.
Oh wait American Dad is on, guess I'll see about that one. But I loved this out of both Cleaveland and The Simpsons, it was so funny. I think season 8 looks pretty good, so far not a sucky one *Knocks on wood*

Yeah, that always is funny, expecially when the bear (does he have a name?) says he doesn't get it. It is kinda an allusion to the 4th wall, we get it, but he doesn't, and we laugh because he doesn't. Wonder if The Cleveland show will mention that.

I agree with DarthGonzo, I find that gag to be one of the best recurring bits from the show, probably only bested by Ernie The Giant Chicken.

I liked how Peter and Lois were fighting to get to the toilet.
I didn't get the blood toilet bit. Didn't expect Peter using the American Flag as his toilet paper.
The montage of Peter and Cleveland's old toilet was... oddly entertaining.
Stewie's commentary and Peter trying to be funny, his comments on drugs, and getting pissed made me lol.
Spy vs. Spy was a pleasent surprise.

Yeah, it was one thing when baseball's only round of playoffs was the world series. But now that baseball has three rounds, they really need to end the regular season about three weeks earlier. It's too cold right now to play baseball for another 3 weeks or so.

What language was she speaking? I learned years ago from Maxim (see, I do actually read the articles) that Mila Kunis was born in the Ukraine. And I have no idea what language it is that they speak there.

Funny thing is (and I'm being completely honest here), I was thinking during the repeat of the Cleveland Show pilot that it'd be funny if, like, some long-range object launched by Peter flew from Quahog to Stoolbend, hit Cleveland's house, and they did one more bathtub gag.

I was almost 100% right, but I wasn't expecting it this soon.

It was even funnier for me, because I was thinking whose house that was, it looked pretty nice. I thought they were doing a Bush gag or something, but then when Cleveland shows up in the tub, wow.

You know... The last gag of the show I was hoping for. Ever since Cleveland got his own show, all I wanted out of Family Guy was one great crossover gag that would involve Cleveland's new house being destroyed with him and tub falling to the ground. They did not disappoint me.

Other than that, great episode. And the improv gag was sooooo true to life. I can kindof vouch for it.
