Family Guy - "Road to the Multiverse" - Talkback [9/27]

Like everyone else, I thought the episode was hilarious and probably the best Family Guy episode in awhile. However, I noticed something random and not sure if anyone else did (or it could be just my ears playing tricks). During the scene where all the characters shout "JEW!" in the Disney Universe, Lois instead seems to say "NO!". Gotta love the random little things they don't expect you to catch sometimes.

It's time will come one day.

Disneyverse and the live-action Stewie and Brian were the best so far.

(Fire hydrant universe)
Brian: Love it
Stewie: Hate it
(Gay universe)
Stewie: Love it
Brian: Hate it.

I really laughed there.

Wow, us rabroadrs really love our Family Guy. After just one day, a Family Guy episode thread has a good couple of hundred posts.

This was a pretty good episode. After last season, I was about ready to give up on Family Guy. It seems like Family Guy is about 50/50 with they're good episode to bad episode ratio. So they're not quite down to the level of The Simpsons yet.

The Beatles' Yellow Submarine?

Fullmetal Alchemist a.k.a. Ed and Al's original world.

The Pokemon universe where Brian could be some undiscovered Pokemon with Stewie dressed up like Ash

THIS EPISODE IS SO AWESOME AND MADE OF PURE ULTIMATE WIN!!!
The Disney Universe had me in stiches and I figured out the Robot Chicken Universe before Stewie said anything. I loved how Stewie said "How does it feel like to be on a major network for 30 seconds?" and Chris, who is voiced by Seth Green, the creator of Robot Chicken, yelled "F*** YOU!". :D:D:D:D

My favorite episode.

This is easily going in my book as a personal Family Guy favorite.

It all started with one genetically-engineered pig and Brian's query on 'when did Stewie get the time to raise one and without anyone knowing?' And then came all the universe jumping. From the future without Christianity (leading to a very, very sexy Meg) to a universe where dogs are humans and vice versa, and everything in-between. Some great, great animation and laughs pretty much the entire episode. The Disney universe, like almost everyone else has said, was definitely the highlight... even with the ending. Lots of other smaller chuckles peppered throughout... stuck in 'Japan won WWII,' 'Quahog in an ice age,' the one only with the man who gives nothing but compliments. I kinda knew when they let human Brian walk out off-screen while Brian and Stewie were talking that they were gonna have him hit by a car... I kept yelling 'Do it, do it!' until it actually happened, honestly.

This isn't false hope, is it? Family Guy is back to being the funniest show on Animation Domination? For one week of the '09-'10 season, at least for now, it is.

It's not so much Disney movies = anti-Jew as Walt Disney = anti-Jew. I don't know if it's true or not, but it seems to at least be a generally accepted rumor that Walt Disney was anti-Semitic.

Oh my GOD! What can be said that hasn't been said? This episode? Amazing. Just hilarious! See now this is the Family Guy I fell in love with! Not a dull moment here at all, I love absolutely all of it. Wouldn't preferred for Human Brian to live as he would make a cool recurring character but eh, whatever. Sure this episode may not have had much of a plot but I really don't care. Each universe was great and I loved seeing where they would go next.

The Disney universe like many people's was my favorite. The animation, the song, it was literally a few minutes of brilliance. Like it came straight from the movie, I haven't seen anything like that on tv in years! It's like actual Disney animators did that scene and my god, I loved it. And of course it was classic Family Guy when Mort walked in. I also loved the Robot Chicken universe. Seth taking jabs at it is always funny! And the dog versions of all the characters was cute! And as mentioned I loved Human Brian. But oh well.

I don't know if the rest of the season will be this good but I know for sure I'll be watching now. No questions, Family Guy won the night. Nice work Seth.

That's what I was wondering. It seriously looked like they got the Disney animators to come and do it.... But I guess the people from Disney wouldn't want to animate "Disney hates Jews." :p

Stewie looked so... sweet.
