Family Guy renewed for a tenth season; The Cleveland Show renewed for a fourth season

^Pretty much this, not much effort seems to be put into this season, and the Cleveland Show just seems so bland, boring, and unecessary. Fox loves to cancel other shows early, but this show keeps getting renewed before the current season even starts, WTF?:sad:
 
Cleveland show just doesn't have that sustenance to keep itself running along side Family Guy and American Dad. Humour at time can be dry, if that's the case let Burgers stay on since that is dry but funny at the same time.

With Allen Gregory and Napolean Dynamite hitting animation domination I truly think it should be Cleveland that should step aside.
 
We're just expressing our opinions on this show, and how it keeps getting renewed without a second thought.And since it relates to its renewal, we have a little freedom. Plus, it's not like this criticism came out of nowhere. There are quite a few a people that dislike this show.:sad:

If you hate the show so much, there are better places to vent about how you feel about it than in a renewal thread.
 
I want to point out that there's nothing wrong with expressing an opinion on a show provided it's civil and no insults are thrown. However, if this thread turns into actual bashing, then infractions will be sent as normal, but there's nothing here so far that deserves one.
 
It gets renewed because animation takes longer to produce than live-action. So, networks have to make the decision before the next season starts.

Plus, the show does hold up in the ratings. And the show got a cable syndication deal with Turner networks(TBS, Adult Swim) for 2013.

IMO, Adult Swim is losing it's creativity because they can rely on FG/AD (and as of 2013 TCS) reruns for good ratings.

The only way people will ever lose interest in them is if they ever get cancelled

But, they keep getting renewed because they do so well in syndication. It's an endless loop! :(
 
Okay maybe it's not boring but it does sit on the fence. Family Guy does the cut away gags and American Dad sticks more a storyline for the humour and well Cleveland show tries to do both but is weak in both areas- in my opinion.

BoB's Burgers seems to satisfy more, as some one said e
 
I've honestly always found Cleveland to be the least funny of all of Peter's friends. But I can't really think of a better character they could've chosen. Of course, I'm sure people would prefer a Quagmire Show, but you can't really do that much with that. He's at best a supporting character.
 
The Cleveland Show is doing fine. People also complained about American Dad in the beginning and look how that show has turned out. Just give them time to tweek the show.
