Broadcast Order: Season 8, Episode 14
Production Order: Season 7, Episode 15

Writer: Gary Janetti
Director: Greg Colton

A new episode airs tonight at 9 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

This has literally been the greatest birthday weekend ever. I had the entire weekend off of work. Thursday and Friday I was on a field trip. After getting back on Friday, my best friends spent the night for two days. We ate out at a fancy restaurant. I got Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver a day early...

And to top it off, Fox is letting us have a new Family Guy. : )

This will actually air half an hour earlier in Canada. :sweat:
Global's schedule is kinda messed up since they decided to simulcast The Celebrity Apprentice at 9:00PM and air The Simpsons/Family Guy at 8:00PM.

Next week, when The Cleveland Show returns at 7:30, we'll actually be getting that a whole hour earlier than America. :evil:

Accourding to me my guide, Meg has a sub-plot involving her dating a normal guy for once.

Sorry, guys, but it's gonna be tough surpassing the excellence that was Dial Meg For Murder.

Given all the people inside the Griffin household, I think people were expecting Cleveland to show up somewhere (despite him having his own show now), hence the payoff here.

Was anyone else expecting that ending in which Stewie reveals his true gender a la Tootsie (of course, this episode was a Tootsie spoof to begin with)?

I wonder if this had to do with the mood of the episode's plots which:

1. Had one plot line that's basically a spoof of Tootsie;

2. Has a second plot line that focuses on the less funny female characters.

It's inviting, not invading.

Now enough with me being a grammar nazi, I thought this episode was bland. Neither of the subplots really went anywhere. Also, some of the jokes weren't really that great, like when they were remarking how the Big Bird parody was a big bird and how the Oscar one was grouchy.

This episode went by pretty fast, but it didn't really go anywhere. It was kinda dull and pretty anti-climatic. I laughed at a couple things but I can't even remember them now which says a lot about how memorable the episode was. I'm thinking this new episode was just a lead-in to Sons of Tucson and nothing more.
