Broadcast Order: Season 8, Episode 17
Production Order: Season 7, Episode 13

Writer: Spencer Porter
Director: Jerry Langford

A new episode airs tonight at 9 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

There's also a subplot in which Chris and Meg injure Stewie and then try to cover it up.

Hopefully this will be a good one. Will they resort to the "Ooo, a piece of candy!" trick again?

James Woods is coming back AGAIN?

I too wonder if the writers have the guts to give it the exact same ending as the last 2 James Woods episodes.

I'm not going to lie; I would find that absolutely hilarious.

A new James Wood episode? Awesome. I love those.
I wonder if this'll be better than the second one.
I laughed hard at the "Two thousand-fun" scene.

Agreed. I hope they do.

Me too, though in "Back to Woods" they commented that next time they'll go right to that trap and save themselves the trouble. My guess is they'll reference it but it won't end with it.

I must be evil because I laughed at that too.

Saying the title in place of a character's name isn't funny, FG. It didn't work with Scrubs and Black Scrubs, and it isn't working now.

But I gotta admit, that was an awesome opening.

It's funny so far. I like how Stewie thought Peter's voicing Rupert was Rupert talking with a different voice.

Also funny is the taping of the sitcom, where father and daugther say every other sentence, and the audience just keeps laughing.

It's an okay episode so far. I too am wondering how Woods got out of the box.

I always hated laugh tracks. Hated it on MASH, hated it on The Pitts (which may be the worst show to ever air on Fox), and hated it on ... actually it's kind of funny on Family Guy. I liked how the test audience stopped laughing in unison.

Is anyone else getting Weekend at Bernie's vibes from the subplot?

The beginning was quite impressive. I wonder what Stewie was parodying in that sequence. It was nice the Elijah Wood made an appearance (and he was part of that debacle James Wood did). A great bit of publicity for him before he stars in the Legend Of Spyro movie.

We don't know how that happened either. Unfortunately, the doesn't seem to be the case this time.
