also: looking at the episode list on wikipedia i cant wait for the first ever family guy Halloween special and IT'S A TRAP! aka the third (and final?) of the family guy star wars parodies.
 
Something always bugged me though, what ever happened to Greased Up Deaf Guy? I saw him once in season 4 and then he just disappeared from the show.:(
 
ok so since someone posted, ima just add my comments about the show as a new post.

Saw (or rather half saw) it yesterday, and am rewatching it now on hulu!

Consuela calling everyone (even muriel and Mayor West Mr) Mister is FUNNY!

Also Herbet coming to the mansion in an ice cream truck. Screams, pedophile but is FUNNY!

one more thing: How did james woods escape the giant warehouse from the end of raiders that he got put into the last time i saw him on the show? and is it just me, or is the only reason the doctor was there was so that he could pronounce each dead person as dead?


EDIT/Update:

14 minutes in, and had 2 laugh out loud (to me) moments nearly back to back.
Mort faking an injury when lois backed into him (though he says peter did it)
Herbert saying "all right everyone but chris keep your pants on"

nother edit/update: apparantly hulu censors stuff? at about 24:54 into it, we see tom with a line that seems to get messed up midway. It's made to sound like "and heres *edit* with the attitude". Possibly the whole line was "and heres the b*tch with the attitude?"

last edit/update: once and for all does stewie have an english accent? he pronounced the show din-asty instead of dine-asty which is how its supposed to be pronounced. And in the end of the episode we see a cameo of who (i assume) is going to be replacing diane since she's dead...but who would've done so anyway.

and....best family guy episode i have ever seen!
 
That was an excellent opener, and a status quo changer to boot. Channel 9 jokes will never be the same. The constant ragging on the woman that came along with Quagmire was lame and annoying (that should have stopped after Stewie's post-death one-liner), but that's pretty much the only big flaw. This pretty much had anything & everything that anyone who ever enjoyed the show would want, right down to Stewie channeling his old self and capping off the ending.

It looked quite good too. I know it's new to HD and all that, but I get the sense extra budget went into this one.
 
Best. Episode. Ever. I really enjoyed the season premiere of Family Guy and was great to see in HD. I wonder if Jillian and Brian will get back together now that her husband is gone. Stewie's ending words, "If anyone is going to kill that ***** it's going to be me," was really funny and means he is still an evil baby. 10 out of 10.
