Pick me 10 of the best family films I can buy on DVD. All input welcome!

Equally, are there any of the obvious choices that any of you (as parents) object to your kiRAB watching?

3. Finding Nemo
4. Aladdin
5. Toy Story 1/2
6. The Chronicles of Narnia - either one really
7. Ghostbusters
8. Edward ScissorhanRAB
9. Finding Neverland
10. Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Black Pearl

(No I do not work for Disney or Johnny Depp :))

I'm not a parent myself, but I'd steer well clear of showing Watership Down to young children - don't be fooled by the cute bunnies on the cover! :eek:
 
I agree, no Watership Down and while I'm at it, no Bambi or Dumbo!! Yours kiRAB can watch those when they are grown up, and they will thank you for sparing them the years of trauma :D

Films that me and my son still love to this day:

See Spot run
Small Soldiers
Brave Little Toaster (Don't ask, we can't help it)
Mars Attacks (watch first, depenRAB on what your kiRAB might be scared of)
Cats and Dogs
Twister
Anything involving Wallace and Gromit
Flight Of The Navigator

LoaRAB more, but I'd have to actually get up and look through all my DVD's, and I'm tired :D

The reason I put the warning against Mars Attacks might seem obvious to people who've seen it, but I put it there for a reason :D When my son was much younger, a friend suggested Men In Black as her child loved it - mine was scared of the big bug. So I passed on Mars Attacks as a recommendation as my son loved that, and her child was terrified when the general went up in flames, right after the dove was released :D
 
Also if you don't want your very young children seeing a sex scene then you might want to give Mars Attacks a miss or find the part where you fast forward. It's a quick one though.
