Word, so we kind of split formed something else more folky then decided to come back. Its my friend Ian and I. Sadly, none of the tracks on our purevolume have him on it, its just me on vocals currently and seeing as he doesn't have vocals similar enough to mine to pull off the harmonies at the moment thats probaly gone. The recordings up are like old school me and jon but its basically the same thing as what were doing now. We decided to stick doing the indie-emo/acoustic thing even though Jon isn't with us anymore. We have a new track up, "Death Of Deceraber" and i'd like ya'lls opinions on it. =)

Thank ya, another new song it has a slightly different edge to it. Its the first song without jon so, if it sucks sorries =(. I'll admit on the night skies line, its...me dubbing, but the screaming is ian. So the new song "Brown Eyes, Butcher Knives, Bye Byes and Suicides" is the new false advertising I suppose, i'd like opinions on it.

and to explosions. Jon was always way more comfortable with his voice then I was. So when I push its typically out insecurity of me sounding bad, jon never had that problem when he sang.
 
Well....Id say that City Streets & Two Tone Beats is my new favourite song by you definetly...WAIT!..Your cover of Cry me a river pwn3d as well...but yeah its the best stuff ive heard that you've written
 
ok well here goes.

as for "its good but not original" this might be true.

the guitar playing is alright
but i can't help but noticing in almost every single song i've heard that it seems like your trying really hard.. like your pushing your voice too much.
when you and the other meraber(s) sing together like in the Brand New covers (which you know i love) you two don't sing well together, he has a nice clam voice, while it seems your pushing yours, when you two sing together it just seems awkward.

thats it i think.. i hope its nothing harsh but just in case i had to bring it up like so..
 
well you bothered to listen to my band so i thought i'd return the favour, wasn't fusseed on simple thoughts, it was alright and all but i just wasnt fussed however i could listen to 'and our year enRAB' all day, and its 4 in the morning here, so that's gonna be one long day. :)
 
Yeah, jon was never as into false advertising as I was, he did it because he enjoyed playing with me, not so much the music we put out. He was more into metal then acoustic stuff.
 
even still.. if your not that comfotable with your voice why not find someone who is comfortable with there voice..

on the up side of things... you write cool songs.. your voice isn't bad but.. i dunno... i don't like being harsh damit..
