Fallujah children's 'genetic damage'

We didn't use "WMD" as you claim. WMD's are either nuclear, chemical or biological, or overwhelmingly-sized explosives. This is going to veer into the depleted uranium rounds that we use, of which evidence of their use and subsequent human damage due to some type of radiation exposure is mixed.

Not that I'm defending the OP, but...

WMD
Within U.S. civil defense organizations, the category is now Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE), which defines WMD as:

(1) Any explosive, incendiary, poison gas, bomb, grenade, or rocket having a propellant charge of more than four ounces [113 g], missile having an explosive or incendiary charge of more than one-quarter ounce [7 g], or mine or device similar to the above. (2) Poison gas. (3) Any weapon involving a disease organism. (4) Any weapon that is designed to release radiation at a level dangerous to human life.

BTW, the way i write is my attempt at Sennyu
It's not working.
its how i think,
Your brain cells have my pity. Are any of them still firing?

here, the true colours of a vulture, nothing to add, just to take, try to deride, consume, dominate.
zero comprehension, zero ability.
just attack. America personified...

pretty much typifies the US's approach to the whole world.huh?
Dominance, greed and lust.
Zero Compassion, zero much of anything really, cept SELF...

What is it that zen says about prejudging, categorizing entire groups of people and nationalistic discrimination?

Oh yeah, it says you're a fucking moron.

so you want to qoute Zen now.
I thought you said you had rejected my interpretation of it utterly.
and now you want to lecture.

Valid point tho, i put Zen aside for a moment cos all you seem to be capable of relating to is absurd ridicule, utterly devoid of reason.
attack, deride, ridicule. no intelligence evident...
it amused me, reminded me of the general signature of America, as perceived by the entire world,
America, go in guns blazing, world police, fuck yeah...
lol

White phosphorus is considered a chemical weapon when anyone other than us uses it.

And the analogy with Agent Orange doesn't actually hold up, because Agent Orange was intended to kill only plants, not humans. In fact, Agent Orange itself does only kill plants, not humans: The cancers are from impurities that come in during manufacture.

Zanthor, your posting "style" is so fucking annoying, vague, obtuse, intentionally skewed towards your confirmation bias and just gauche faux bullshit that its so very hard to take you seriously. You don't want a debate, but you also couch your OP's like this in intentionally inflammatory terms that its clear that all you want is people to agree with your preconceived notions (if others can even parse what the fuck you're getting on about) that "Amerikka is teh EVIL"!!!111.

Your posts suck, don't inspire the deep thinking you believe they do nor any debate and are generally incomprehensible due to your propensity for couching them in some weird ass Zen poetry style that is extremely off-putting.

Piss off. In Haiku, if it makes you feel better.

Zanthor: The folks on this MB are about 10-1 rabidly against the Iraq War. If you find yourself on the outs in an anti-Iraq War thread here, you might want to rethink your position. Or at least rethink your argument.

"Bad thing" happened in Iraq. The US waged an unjust war in Iraq. Therefore the US is responsible for "bad thing". Uh.... no.

please define for me just what this is, so i can tell just how much you have washed your blood stained hands.
no offense, just curious is all.

Oh, and try typing with moderately correct punctuation, so I don't have to bust out a first grader-to-english dictionary to understand you and your post, . . .

This is Great Debates, so these sort of snide personal remarks are unwelcome.

= = =

That said, the OP does not appear to wish to actually engage in a debate, so I am moving it off to the BBQ Pit where Zanthor can express himself more freely.

We aren't using Agent Orange in Iraq or Afghanistan. I don't think we use it at all anymore and haven't for a long time.

You want me to feel guilty, because im an American, because of what America has done, right?

Why?

First, why should I feel guilty about what the USA did in vietnam? I acknowledge that the US undertook some very questionable, perhaps even morally incorrect act actions. Why should I feel guilt about it?
Might be to do with the notion the USA is allegedly a democracy still - at least nominally- and that what the state does, it does in the name of the people it represents.

Crazy thinking I know. One of those old guys thought the same 'government of the people, for the people . . . .'

From a non-American pov, it's a little odd that you feel so disconnected now you don't see the link anymore.

Learning from history is a wise idea, but bearing the guilt and shame? How many generations would you suggest we visit the sins of the fathers down?

Ohmigawd!

You mean a town that was blanketed in WP smoke, explosive residue, gunpowder smoke, diesel fumes and fuel, thick clouds of black smoke (from burning cars, tires, plastic, houses, buildings, metal, paint and people), lead particulate and depleted uranium may have some detrimental genetic effects?

NO WAI!

PS: Radon gas from hiding in basements? LOL

A bogus claim of WMD resulting in several hundred thousand dead Iraqis might be a starting point, somewhat underscored by the fact of the re-election of that representation of the people, for the people.

Piss off you douche bag.
Was there lead in your baby food?
Your posting sucks, lots.

You missed by a syllable in your second line...but I still like it!
:)
I declare this thread is about Haiku critiquing, now. Not whatever bullshit the OP was trying to pedal -- Haiku critiquing, as boring as it is, is far more interesting.

I thought Haiku was 5/7/5? (Was)1(There)2(Lead)3(in)4(your)5(baby)6(food)7?
