Faith No More are to reunite, Mike Patton has announced. Only he's not making much of a fuss about it.

Last year's rumours were confirmed in a statement released this week by Patton's publicist. Buried at the end of a long blurb about Crank 2: High Voltage
 
i'm not sure what to think of this. reunions are usually lame and money driven. i'm thinking ipecac recorRAB neeRAB some cash more than FNM wants to tour.

also gives the nixed-coacella gig rumour a new light. smooth PR move.
 
Not sure it'll be all that good, but at least it'll force Patton to sing more rather than screech, hiccup, belch, noodle hehehe Although that stuff is cool too. Cheers!
 
God, it'd be great to see them - i didn't catch them when they were still together, but i damn well should have... more fool me for not going!
 
I wanna see FNM. They should come to Vancouver.

That would be hella epic.

Bollocks, I deserve to see Patton with Faith No More. :( I missed my chance with AiC.
 
It's a shame they didn't get Jim Martin back but hey, what can you do! Like Mojopinuk it's just great to see them back, especially as they'll be swinging by the UK for bit.
 
There's a lot of speculation as there is to be an official announcement made on FNM's behalf tomorrow too- looks as though there probably will be a Download appearance.
