Fairing vs windshield

Not to speak for TooEasy, but it takes me about 5 minutes to swap my dragonfly out for a windshield.

I thought I'd be like everyone else and never take mine off after I got it. I actually only use it now when I'm going on a longer trip for a little better protection and the tunes help pass the time. I rarely ever ride with the fairing around town or on weekend day rides. I just find that for every day use, I prefer the windshield look and feel over the fairing. That's just me...
 
The only thing fussy about putting on the fairing is getting the electrical plug together. I've got mine wired up pretty tightly so it tucks up neatly inside the fairing. Generally, I'll set the lower fairing brackets in place, look around to make sure the plug is accessable, roll the fairing up so the upper part of the bracket is in place, then plug the wiring together and slip it up underneath. Then roll the fairing back as far as it goes and tighten it down. 3 or 4 minutes tops. A couple of minutes to take it back off.

It's no big deal to take it off or put it on, I just like the way the bike looks with the fairing in place, and I like having the option to listen to tunes. Without the fairing, the bike is more nimble, but you quickly adjust to riding with a little weight on the forks.
