Fairing or 21in Wheel next???

Fairing first then work for wheel later. You will love the comfort and the protection provided plus the new look.

I hear and thank you all for your responses. I am wondering if those 16 in apes will work or if I will need to change them out??

We don't all use fairings with radios because some of us appreciate the ride without a bunch of extra crap blaring at us.

I think I would go with the 21" first.... That's just my preference though. The wheel gives them a custom look with just that one change.

Looking at the way you got your apes pushed forward, I think the fairing would not fit.
Your bars are almost the same angle pushed forward as mine and to mount a windshield, I had to fabricate a 3" extension at the top notch outward so that the top of my shield would not hit the top of the bars.
I seldom use the shield for touring because of this. It messes up the windflow because it's too upright.
