faint line on a pregnancy test.. negative on the digital?

i am 2 days late and i took a hpt and it had a very faint line so i went back to the store and bought a digital one and it says negative what to i do? am i pregnant or not?
 
my ob said the digital ones arent as sensitive as the line ones so wait a few more days and take another digital one. but false positives are EXTREMELY rare. faint or not i bet your pregnant!
 
usually a faint line means there isnt enough hormone to develope the full line, so therefore the digital will say negative because its looking for the full amount. i'd wait a few more days and take another test with first morning pee.
 
The faint line always means positive, however, it is a bad sign that you have a faint line so late (assuming you were using an early detection test). I had the same experience last pregnancy, faint positive and negative digital and within a week I had a chemical miscarriage so you'll want to see a doctor ASAP. Best of luck, I really hope it works out better for you than it did for me.
 
I'm sure you will not be able to wait two days come on now... What I suggest you do is go to the dollar store and buy like 5 or more tests and go home and test test test!!!! That way if your not prego then you didn't waste too much money of those expensive brands and the dollar tree ones are very accurate..you know for the most part..good luck either way!
 
The faint line could have been a false positive from taking it wrong.
Wait 2 to 3 days and take another and defiantly make an appointment to get a blood test. you don't have to see your family dr if you are nervous about that. Go to a health clinic or planed parenthood place.
 
If your digital one you bought came in a two pack I would take the other one with your first mornings urine and trust that result. Good luck either way!
 
you prob are. The negative ones are not as sensitive as the other ones so just retake the test and see what it says if its still negative then go to the doctors
