Faded positive on pregnancy test?

I took a preg. test and it is a very faded positive. I have not had a period for around a year and a half(I already been to doc. about that) A little over a month ago I finally did have a period, it was only for a day and then spotting for one more day. This month about 2 weeks ago I thought I was about to have a period on time because when I wiped there was a very small amount of blood..but a period never came so I decided to take the test...and now I don't know if its a + or a - !!?? What do you all think? :-?
Thanks everyone...I am going to wait a couple of days and take another test...and see what happens with that one...if it does the same I will see a my doc even though I don't trust them. The answer to me not having a period for so long was "Hmmm I don't really know, it weird to me. Maybe your body thinks your prego when your not." After 4 years of unprotected sex and a million test maybe FINALLY I really am! :)
The fact that everyone of you thinks I could be pretty much made me cry happy tears :) lol
 
The results are ONLY VALID during the time frame specified in the directions. If it was positive at the time you were supposed to read it, it doesn't matter what it does afterwards. You're pregnant.
 
I think a line is a line as long as it showed up within the reccommended time limit. If I were u id wait another few days before testing again using first morning urine and u will get a clear answer...GOODLUCK!!
 
well if you can see any line at all its a positive just a early one as the test line only reacts with hcg and if it shows even a faint line that means your urine had to have some in it , i would continue to test and the line should get darker as your hcg levels rise also maybe consider a blood test as they can pick up allot less hcg and will let you know earlier
 
congratulation!

faded positive, that what happen to my first pregnancy, but please, please and million of please, take extra care coz i miscarriage to my 1st pregnancy. A stupid saudi doctor gave me antibiotic for my UTI even though i told her that i have faded positive pregnancy test. I lost the baby just few hours after taking the drugs.
