I have a 1997 ford thunderbird with premium sound so it had a stock Cd player. whenever i hit the smallest bump it skips so im wanting to get an aftermarket CD player in there i bought the cd player and the wiring harness for ford premium sound stereos. the power one works great but when i hook the one up that connects the speakers no sound comes out. but when i touch the wires from the back of the CD to the little medal prongs inside the stock speaker adapter it works fine. i think the problem is that the medal prongs from the stock adapter and the ones from the wiring harness dont touch. How can I fix this?
