I had to do a Factory restore on my Jailbroken IPHONE. I knew this would unjailbreak my phone but I had no other choice. I downloaded the most update version of Itunes and was hoping to restore my settings.. but Im not sure on how to go abouts doing so? because when I plug the USB into my phone and comp this is what pops up on Itunes : The SIM card inserted does not seem to be supported. only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iPhone. Please insert sim card that came with your iPhone or visit a supported carriers store to recieve a replacement.

I dont have a original carrier Sim card..I only have the Sim card I was using when the phone was jailbroken which is with a different company... this was all set up for me when I bought the phone. I think it was jailbroken with cyndia and snow or something along those lines? I cant get into my Iphone at all to see a menu or anything. it stays on the screen with the ITUNE disk and showing the USB cord and a little lock above it... Plz help me!! Im so fustrated!! :( It worked PERFECTLY until it froze yesterday!

Also I should state I cannot go buy another ATT sim card unless I want to cross the boarder which I cant because I DONT have a freakin passport!!
Far as I no its on the 3.12 but I could be wrong.. I have the Iphone 3G 16GB.. lol is that what your talking about??
Also when I open Itunes I see that all my music and applications are still there? but soon as I plug in the acutal phone I get that msg about the sim card! If you could help me out I would forever be in debt! LOL I paid 500 for this phone and have only had it since the end of Jan.. there is a 2 year apple care plan on it.. but I was told since its jailbroken that doesnt matter??
