Tell that to a haunted 80 yr old woman who still can't talk about the horror she lived through - that you compare her to a chicken.
I think it's an atrocity to make this comparison.
Factory farming is its own problem. Don't borrow from the horror of another event of infinitely greater significance. If killing a chicken is a holocaust, what's next? Parking violations? Leave the dignity of that era alone. It's not yours or ours to borrow against for dramatic effect.
