Facebook Icon?

My Curve wasn't getting messages this morning so I reset/restarted. I received the 'congratulations' activation email after that and have since noticed a Facebook Icon on my homescreen -- even though I didn't download.

Did Rogers do an update of its BIS that I didn't know about?

Option advanced apps. Scroll to app and use the BlackBerry button to choose delete. Or hide the icon so its there if you need it.

That will install it for the BlackBerry. You just need to plug your device into the computer. Click the link. It will install. Make sure you have your BlackBerry email tied to notifications on your FB account.

I should have mentioned that I tried that already, it isn't listed in my apps list. I have it hidden, just not sure where it came from.

i just tried a battery pull and the icon has not shown up for me

on the $15 BIS plan
could that mean i dont get the free facebook :cry:
 
I thought you couldn't use the facebook app with the $15 BIS plan...?
Please correct me if I am wrong because it's a useful tool if I can start using it!
 
With the Rogers $15 BlackBerry plan you can't use the facebook application. You can receive alerts for messages and stuff but you won't be able to post on someone's wall, poke them, etc... as this uses data and the $15 plan has no data at all.
