Facebook Chatting Question?

I used to be able to chat; but now when I try to send a message and press enter; it doesn't work! Does anyone know what's wrong with it and how I might be able to fix it?
 
Well it could be a few different things if that's the case. Make sure your internet connection is fine and if you use Internet Explorer make sure you have it upgraded to Internet Explorer 8. It's free and that should help if you do.
 
if it moves down all you have to do is exit out of the chat and go back. it happens to me
 
Try logging out and logging back in. This sometimes seems to fix the problem for me. Another thing is that sometimes it will say that the message is not sending and then after a tad it will work.

I use chat on Facebook all the time. While I've not had any problems like you are experiencing, I would suggest the following:

When you sign in, go to "HELP" and then go to "CHAT" and it will have a forum of frequently asked questions concerning your problem.

You may have inadvertently changed something in your settings.

Don't worry. Just go to "help" and "chat" and you will be back chatting in no time!

sign out of facebook and sign back in...if that does not work, sign out and then restart your computer before you sign back in.
