isn't there a way to find out if someone clicked your name on fb chat?
doesn't the online friends tab go to the top when someone has clicked on your name?

Not unless they message you. If you open a window to them, though, you may catch a glimpse that they've accidently typed something in their mesage window. ("so in so is typing")
 
Not when somebody clicks your name. When somebody talks to you. Also: one question mark gets the job done.

This: blank??????? or blank!!!!!?!?!?!?!!! is not helpful.

This: blank? or blank! will suffice.
 
I don't believe that there is a way to find that out. If nobody has sent you a chat message, then you wouldn't know if someone has clicked on your name.
