facebook chat wont open up?

recently facebook chat wont open up its say it couldnt connect but it says it all the time! i cant talk to anyone.
im using firefox.
any ideas whats wrong with it?

i receive the same message sometimes but then it starts to work,
i think it is a temporary problem
