facebook chat not working!!!?

for the past few weeks my chat hasnt been working..and ive looked on my friends accounts(when they came over) and all there chats work...mine shows everyones onlline but as soon as i click on anyone they go offline! or sometimes i can type but it gets an "unexpected error" or then says there offline after i send the chat! is there a simple fix? dose anyone know facebooks email address where i can ask for help? there stupid forms for problems dont work, thanks guys!! (10 points if you get it working) i really want to chat asap! it dosnt work on my iphone eather..comes up with enexpected error
 
The same thing happens to me. My friends say that it says I'm online, but the error message comes up. Try closing and reopening the application.

This always happens with everyone. Facebook chat is very unreliable so you're better off sticking to msn, annoying I know.
