f480 imei repair using qualcomm client

i am trying to repair imei using 3grpl.com but cannot find any good guides on how to use this software.

is the original data cable good to use or would i need a box and combo cable?

here is what i have done installed drivers connected phone to pc opened client manually input comports clicked make/ask and it does read the phone so i assume its okto use.

so am i ready for buying logs and repairing it? do i just put imei off the back of my phone into software and click use rpl?

please someone help me out cheers in advance
 
i have connected phone to cable clicked make/ask and it has saved the ask file in program files so now do i just buy the log and upload the ask file to 3grpl wait for them to send me the rpl file by email and flash phone with that and new imei?
