Eye tik and face muscles problems related, meaning tumor?

Ok, here's me hoping someone knows the answer to my longterm problem.
For some time already I have a problem with my left eye, it gets dry more often than my right eye and I have to blink more often with my left eye because of that. I went to see a specialist and he thought it was some kind of bacteria. The tests returned and it showed nothing whatsoever, however he did say that the surface of both of my eyes looks a bit different than it should be. I have no problems with my sight and I tested that too, apparently I see very well. He gave me some drops in case it's an infection of some sort. The drops did help a bit, but after taking drops for a month I know the problem extends beyond. There are other factors to include which make me panick all the more. I have a tik, a very annoying one. From time to time I simply look at the top left side of my field of vision. In other words, from time to time I move my eye to the top left corner as if I was looking at something above me slightly to the left. It's voluntarily, at least I think it is, though I find it harder day by day to resists giving in to a desire I have to look up-left. The tik wouldn't be a problem if it hasn't made my face muscles hurt a bit. I have no idea if the two are related but at times the muscles of my face start to contract and hurt if I keep giving in to my tik. I neither have an idea if the two are related to my left eye problem, but I think they are as the tik involves only the left eye. Of course, I move both of my eyes to look up and left, it's just that only my left eye has a desire to do so. It's true that I spent most of my day behind a pc, my work is based on a pc and when I don't work I read and write on a pc. I've noticed that the tik and face muscles contracting occur much less of I spend my day away from my pc, and the occurance is lessened by the day if the days are spent away from the pc. However, the tik never really goes away, and the problem with my left eye is always there no matter if i'm behind a pc or not. Just the other day I spent the day outside in the country, I swam in a really cold river. For the rest of the day my left eye was dry and burned like hell, I almost had to keep it closed all the time. Now I know that I should spend less time behind the pc and wear protective glasses when I do, I'm just wondering if there's something more to it. The specialist told me that if the drops don't cure my left eye problem we'd do a test for alergies, I never went however as I find the idea of my eye being allergic simply rediculous. I'm wondering...panicking, if both the dry and burning left eye, the tik and the contracting of the face muscles might suggest a brain tumor...or something. I'm really scared and hoping it's nothing at all.
I'm sorry for the long text, I hope someone find the time to read it and help me anyway he or she can. Thank you very much in advance.

Amarganth: I don't know if I'll be of much help but I'll try. What type of specialist did you see? An eye doctor? Opthamologist? Maybe you need to see a neurologist and get an MRI done to make sure you don't have any tumors or cysts in back of the eye. It's not normal what you said is happening. Do you wear glasses?

I'd also recommend that you take some magnesium to see if that gets rid of the tik. Magnesium is good in helping get rid of twitches. Do you drink caffeine? If so, then magnesium is reduced in the body by caffeine. You'll know when you have enough magnesium in your body because your stools will become loose.

I have dry eyes too but mine are caused by estrogen dominance.

Another thing to consider is getting tested for Sjogren's Syndrome. There's a board on here about it. The side effects are dry eyes and dry throat. It's an autoimmune disorder.

The computer is definitely a culprit if you're on it alot. It's the EMF's that can cause problems for you. It's the same as these kids playing on their Nintendo's all the time.
It's damaging to the eyes. Keep using the eyedrops. I have to use the ones that make tears to help me. Be careful of being around fans and wind because that can cause the eyes to be even more dry. What about at work? Is it dry in there to begin with? If there's not enough moisture in the air where you're working that could add to the problems. I used to work in a place that was full of paper and the paper dust added to the dry eyes.

You could have some allergies too I suppose. It wouldn't hurt to get tested for some. I wish you luck.

Thank you for replying. Yes, I saw an Opthamologist. The tick isn't so much of a tick as it turns out as ticks can't be controlled as I've heard. I can make myself not indulge the need to look left-up, though I forget mostly about the tick and do it anyway as it has become a part of me. I'm trying to get rid of the tick by stopping to indulge...it takes a lot though.

No, I don't wear glasses, my eye sight is great, as a matter of fact it's very very good.

I've never really been a fan of coffee, just recently did I start drinking it with friends. I've never had a hard stool though, it was always loose, I go daily at least once, sometimes twice, never had a problem with my metabolism.

I don't have a dry throat, not that I know of, I do drink a lot of water though, not too much though, the regular 2L daily.

The drops I'm using are for inflammations of the eye, the drops that replace tears don't work but I don't have need for them as my eyes aren't really dry, they just sting at times. Swimming in cold water makes them sting a lot, though it's normal for tired eyes I guess and mine get tired a lot, I'm either reading, writing, at my pc, driving a car, my days are always intense for my eyes, my left eye however stinges even if my eyes are relaxed and not stressed and I have to blink with my left eye more than I would normally with my right eye.

UPDATE: So I've decided to fight my tick believing it has nothing to do with my eye. I fight against the urge to give in, it's like a drug I'm trying to get rid of, it works though. However (not knowing if it's because of my decision not to indulge the need) I somtimes feel pressure at the back of my eyes and inside my head just at my temples (to the left of my left eye and the right of my right eye). I've no idea what it could be, some people tell me it's a mental thing; me fighting my tick mixed with tired eyes. Other people tell me it could be something much worse. I've no idea if it's worth vising my doc.
