Ive had back problems for about a year now and after xrays and mris ive got a fractured/chipped vertbrea, and a herniated disk, finally my dr sent me to a neurologst. He suggest i have a esi shot, which i did this past friday and if that didnt help we would go to plan b. Well i had the shot and i was fine, i went home got in the bed and when i woke up about 4 hrs later i had a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE pain in both my legs. It feels like they took the muscles out of my legs and stretched them across the room and twisted them like a rope. My knees are the worst the muscle/ligaments around them are so tight when u touch them it feels like i have plastic plates in my leg, my calfs are swolen and are sensitive to the touch, its like i have a thousand gallons of water in my knees and its tryin to bust out.
Before the shots i had some pain in my legs but nothing like this. I went to the er the next day thinkin something went wrong but the dr told me it should be ok in the next couple days. Please tell me sorabody else has had this happen to them before and its normal, and when its goin to be over.
i go back to the dr on weRAB and if he even begins to say i need another one im goin to flip out its just not goin to happen my back still feels the same as before. If anybody has any insight it sure would be helpfull thanks alot!
