If you don't like the Centre Ice Package you can watch the games for free on TSN, RDS, CBC and your local Sportsnet channel which is well over 200 games. Sportsnet ONLY has regional rights to their teams and TSN pays a premium to allow fans to watch games Coast to Coast. Centre Ice is designed for fans like myself being a Canucks fan living in Flames/Oilers territory. I was able to every Canucks game this year and was more than pleased with the package.

I have todays game listed in the guide for HD but is not available in HD. It is on regular BEV on channel 428. It is in the guide for 425 and 867 but not available on either. A call to BEV and the answer is that it is delayed. What a load of bunk. This is not the first time I couldn't get a HD NHl game. has anyone lese experienced this.

The purpose of the sens (or any teams) PPV events are to generate money for the team, not EV. This is done by many teams, and is out of EV's control for NHLCI.

bong's point was that it's crap to have to pay another $10 to watch your team (if you live in that team's viewing area) while already paying $200 for CI.

You can NOT watch your team for free on any station if it's a ppv game in that area.

Quick question - does anybody know what teams would be blacked out on CI in Manitoba? I'm hoping they only blackout classic Jets games... :)

As far as blackouts in Manitoba go, I think that Manitoba, Alberta and Sakatchewan all lose the Oilers and Flames games on Centre Ice because you are in their "home viewing region" Doesnt make much sense does it?

But I usually get Calgary/Edmonton games on SportsNet West, so I guess it all works out? Hmmm...

When the Jets return, BEV will have 5000 HD channels, the NHL will give tickets away for free, and Hell will be a very cold place...
