In around a months time i'm competing in an expression session, it is being held to kickstart the new boardriders season and will be an all-day event. Here's the catch, having never competed before i'm not sure what the judges are looking for, do they tend to prefer combinations or a couple of big turns? Riding the face or punting some aerials?
Also i'm not too shabby at surfing, my snaps are fast, cutbacks are clean and my backhand is pretty co-ordinated, i've just tried some aerials over the last few months and i can land an alley-oop and air reverse.
Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated, have a peace week
