My younger sister asked me what I use the computer a lot for, despite it being very run down. I tell her that I make web pages and shiz, and know some languages and such. So she says she wants to learn too, and make her own website.
I tell her to go find a book at the local library on HTML and CSS, and she picks good books because I look over them and it explains things in laman terms, but she doesn't understand it or can't pick it up. She says she's determined, but the stuff doesn't 'stick' to her memory. So what's a good way to teach her HTML/CSS without it getting too jargon-y? I'd teach her myself, but she'd learn my own method of coding and I'd like for her to learn her own way, the way it feels more comfortable for her and not "because he said it works this way".
Also, I'm putting this in the programming section because Yahoo! is recommending me to put this into pregnancy and parenting, but I'm only 14, so don't mean if you find another section. :~:
Thanks to anyone who can help, as per usual. ~Juan
