When ever I run or exercise I feel fine. But once I stop I begin to feel weak, lightheaded, ringing in the ears, etc. All the symptoms of fainting. Today I ran a mile (which is a light run for me) and I felt great during the run. But then immediately after I finished running I was standing and I began to feel these symptoms. I sat down and put my head down. After five minutes or so I felt better and continued with my normal routines. My question is how do I get this to stop? I saw a doctor about this months ago because I had a similar experience but in that situation I DID faint. She called it Vasovagal Syncope. I'm about to join the police academy and they're going to put me through a combination of intense exercises and periods of standing at attention. How do I prevent myself from experience these symptoms of fainting or fainting immediately after these exercises?
