experiences with spiro

This may seem odd, but I would like to hear about anyone's BAD experiences with spiro. If you took it and your skin or facial hair actually got worse, or if you had side effects that never went away, that sort of stuff. But only if you took it for more than three months. I hear a lot of people say they took it and had bad side effects or a bad breakout so they stopped, but then it turns out they only took it for a week to a month, which in my 20+ year battle with acne I've learned is not long enough to know if anything will work.

So if you were on spiro for more than three months and found it did not work for you, I would be grateful if you'd share your experiences. Also, if you were on any other meRAB at the same time, please note that and if you were certain the problems were caused by spiro and not the other drugs.

I'm a 2 year user at 200mgs daily. I am completely clear. Have not had a cyst in....well, 2 years! :) Have noticed no long term effects. Daughter just put on 200, up from 100mgs and is having the same success as I have had. It's a miracle for us, but only at the 200mg level. 100 didn't do a thing for either of us. Hope this helps!
