I got a year and 3 month old female rabbit from the pet store for free last night. She is apparently the mother of some of the babies being sold in the store. She weighs about 5lbs but is very thin and frail for her size. Her coat was also a mess when I got her.I know this is likely from stress. I have since brushed her, and there is a bit of improvement but not much. She has eaten a little bit of the pellets since we got home and a bit of dark lettuce, but not much. What can I do to improve her weight/coat? Thanks all!
