Having now seen Dominion and Beginning I have to say that they both seem equally dull.
Binning Paul Schrader's effort only to remake it with similarly dodgy fx, the same daft story and Stellan Skarsgard's voice approaching Jack Bauer levels seems bizarre (and wastefuly expensive) to say the least.
No wonder ticket prices keep going up. :confused:
 
Pretty much agreed. Although i prefered Dominion it had a little more creepiness and suspense. Binning it to remake it was a pointless move. I think Liam neeson was originally cast to play the Priest but walked away from it early on in production
 
Had a few beers last night ...so endured 25 minutes of the Renny Harlin flick - which I seen from about half-way through. I truly believe if you handed a serious movie fan [with no experience of film-making whatsoever] the script for Exorcist 4 and told him/her to direct it, they would make a better movie than f'cking Renny Harlin. I'm not joking. Enough people must like this trash - otherwise he wouldn't continue to be hired for high-profile studio movies... and this scares the life out of me!
