The people (not me) are saying there is going to be a remake, i am just posting the news for you guys. My opinion is that this is rumors, i cant see a exorcist remake even though i would love to see one, but not in 2008 maybe in another 10 years time or so.

Answer to second question.
Yes, but whats wrong with Dakota Fanning? she is a good actress maybe thats why they want her for the role, and maybe because she is at a perfect age to play regan.

Answer to third question.
Not just Dakota Fanning but any actor or actress, she is not the only actress on this planet you know. :rolleyes:
 
I know horror movies should have gore in it, and guess what i am imagining, i am imagining you being in a horror movie right now, yes i can just picture it :D .
 
For a start, as someone else pointed out, the old rumours have been largely debunked and so hold no credibility whatsoever, and yet you posted them declaring them as fact under the title 'Exorcist in 2008 whoo hoo'. when you do contradict yourself like that you have to expect people to pick you up on it.

What's wrong with Dakota Fanning you ask? Where do I start? She's a good actress? You're welcome to your opinion but I would beg to differ. She's not terrible but she's hardly memorable in anything she does.

Oh, and thanks for pointing out that she isn't the only actress on the planet. For a minute there I totally forgot the entire history of cinema.

Well Linda Blair was also unknown at the time she was in the exorcist, she hasnt done anything other then the exorcist that people would remember, then she did exorcist 2 wich sucked so why cant they have dakota fannig?.
 
What does that have to do with anything? LB did go on to do things that people would remember including seminal hit films like 'Chained Heat', 'Hell Night', 'Night Force' and 'Airport 75'. Also, Dakota Fanning isn't unknown. Anyway, they're not making the film anyway so why are you getting all bent out of shape?
