"Exiting wil disconnect active mailbox connection?"

Ok, i have my mailbox setup to check for new email every 15 minutes, when i try to exit out of my email app i get the "exiting will disconnect active mailbox connection" will this stop my mailbox from checking for new email every 15 minutes?

If i disconnect it will it continue to check for email?

P.S. its on a Nokia e50.
 
Yes it will still check for mail...keep tabs on it though. If it tries to connect to your mailbox and is unsuccessful, it may revert back to never checking. Thats what happens on my n80 anyways...every now and then I have to reset the option to check always..
