exercise stopping me frmo growing?

theres this exercise called 'rows'
would it stop me frmo growing ? this is how you do it and all;
Rows
Rows work the lats (the muscles on either side of the body) and also involve the biceps. To perform a basic row, tip forward to about 45 degrees, holding the weights(dumbells) down. also for lifting dumbells, what should be the max weight i lift ? for a 13 year old xD anyway thanks for the help ^.^
