I use to follow a workout program on youtube from SparkPeople, but recently I've been doing something a bit different.
Instead of follow the workout, I find some fun music and basically just dance around my room for 15-30 mins. I do some kickboxing/cardio moves in my dancing that I learned from the workout so I'm not just jumping around lol
my question is... What do you think is better to stick to? I feel like I'm having a LOT more fun just dancing and I don't feel like its a chore! And I also think it will help keep my body guessing and not get use to the same old thing.
I sweat more to the dancing too.
I'm also on a low calorie Healthy living diet so it's not like the exercise is all I'm doing.
I figure as long as I stay actively moving for 15-30 mins a day (not counting everything else I do in a day) is enough activity to help me lose some weight.
what do you think? Do I need to go back to following a program?
