Exercise bike and healthy diet? can it help with weight loss?

Im 21 and an australian size 12 im trying to get down to a size 8 and wondering if i go on the exercis ebike for 1/2hr before breaky and 1/2 hr after work at fast pace along with drinking green tea and lemon throughout the day and 2 litres of water instead of cooldrink along with a healthy eating plan when will i start seeing big changes??? i've already been doing it for a bout a week and feelign a bit more toned.

And can you suggest anything to make me lose more weight?
