hello everyone
i really want to do a bit of travelling and since i am at university (of edinburgh) i have some pretty good opportunities available.
- until pretty recently i have been up for the idea of signing up to be a camp counsellor with bunac or camp america, this is just because it looks like a great and cost efficient opportunity to see some more world.
a university exchange program caught my eye where you study on a year exchange with any of edinburghs many partnered universities. when i was looking through the list the university of toronto stood out because i visited there this summer and had a really great time and thought the city was one i could see myself living in.
i understand the differences in the two options are phenominal. the reason why i would not want to do both it that a year is a long time and i dont want to be away from home through summer then also till christmas.
in terms of cost i think i could afford both, the camp option will obviosly be cheaper because i would get paid but the year abroad would not cost much more than my year in edinburgh anyway.
so advice and help would be very much appreciated - especially if you know torronto, have studied at the uni, have done camp america, done an exchange etc etc even if you havent but have some sound advice to part with, it would be very much appreciated. thank you.
