excessive rear tyre wear on honda crv new shape?

both rear tyres have worn out the inside edges right down to the steel but 3/4 of the tyres have still got6 to 8 mm left over the tyre,Honda checked it out and said it was all fine,with the castor and camber and alingnment BUT going else where it is miles out and that is why they have worn out ,so keep an eye on the rear tyres,
 
well thanks for letting me know, unfortunately i got the 04 version model and I did change the suspension and lower it to about 2.5" front and 2.0" rear, I like the look and the feel, of more ground sporty car and reduce the rollover and less body roll, and also increase acceleration pull but I haven't had any problem even with the original manufacturing set up, it was fine, until i put on a new 22" rims and use tired, so year the tired wear out quick within a 9 month but it was just the tire, but thank for the info, I'll let my friend knows and my girlfriend know of the awareness of the tyres wear out.
